UX/UI Case Study
Provide safety of adventure seekers by connecting communities with real-time wildlife alerts.
Safety First, Adventure Always!
What was the problem
As Cities expand, natural habitats such as forests and grasslands are diminished. This forces wildlife to venture into closer proximity with humans and despite government efforts, human-wildlife conflicts are rising in BC and is a serious issue, that led to heightened tensions, human injuries, fatalities, and a significant decline wildlife populations.
20,000 Reports
The Ideation
Living in BC with its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife poses challenges for a nature enthusiast who also fears encountering wild animals. Daily reports of wildlife sightings or attacks only intensify these concerns. This inspired me to explore ways to ensure the safety of myself and loved ones while still enjoying our outdoor adventures.
